Juliette Lewis stars as Kathryn Siddell-Bauers in the first episode of Camping. She is a controlling, perfectionist wife and mother who is determined to make her family's camping trip perfect. Despite her best efforts, things quickly go awry. Her husband Walt (David Tennant) is uncooperative, her son Orvis (Duncan Joiner) is uninterested, and her daughter Nina (Ione Skye) is rebellious. As the trip progresses, Kathryn's attempts to control the situation become increasingly desperate. Despite her efforts, she is unable to keep her family from unraveling.
